Funeral services will be held for Bridgette Nicole Chapman, 32, of Ville Platte, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 9. Burial will follow in the M.B. Fontenot Cemetery.
Ms. Chapman died Friday, December 6, 2013, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
Survivors include her mother, Susan Attales Chapman of Ville Platte; one sister, Kelly Chapman Fell and her husband, Dustin, of Ville Platte; one niece, Alexia Fell of Ville Platte; and two nephews, Tyler and Andrew Fell of Ville Platte.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Marty Chapman; her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Ruby Attales; and her paternal grandparents, Laurel and Verda Bordelon Chapman.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Sunday, December 8, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. The funeral home will reopen Monday, December 9, from 8 a.m. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 6:30 p.m.
Father Jason Vidrine will officiate.
