
Rosebelle McGee Guillory

MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Rosebelle McGee Guillory, 87, of Mamou, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 28. Burial followed in the New St. Ann’s Mausoleum.
Ms. Guillory died Friday, December 27, 2013, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. She was a hard worker, having worked at the Elizabeth Paper Mill, as a school lunch room worker and as a sitter for the elderly. She enjoyed her weekly card games and her trips to the casino. She was a volunteer at Savoy Medical Center as a Pink Lady and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Evangeline Home Demonstration Club. She left many cherished memories, such as quilting and crocheting, and she was a wonderful cook and baker.
Survivors include one son, Carl Guillory and his wife, Vicky, of Texas City, Texas; two daughters, Brenda Fontenot and her husband, Michael, of Eunice and Charlotte Gann and her husband, George, of Baytown, Texas; eight grandchildren, Scott and Todd Guillory, Toni, Steven and Kim Fontenot and Michael, Christie and Jeff Gann; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Marjorie Pang of Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louray Guillory; and one brother, Anthony McGee.
Father Mark Melancon officiated.
